After Russia's invasion of Ukraine started, more than two million Ukrainians have fled to other countries. Many Belarusians and Russians are leaving their countries too. Some of these people are young researchers who are trying to transfer or start their graduate studies in a different place. Position description: I have the funds for a PhD position (3 years, which is the usual duration in France) in Strasbourg. If needed, I can fund an internship before that (so MS intern followed by PhD). The only constraint is that the PhD must start before October. The topic is really turned R&D with parallelization, algorithm and C++.
